Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender People (GLBT)

I believe that all citizens have the civil rights that I enjoy as an American middle- aged white woman of Irish Catholic descent. I think it is regrettable that some of these rights need to be legislated.

I support the civil rights of GLBT people.

Pro-Choice

The Supreme Court’s 1973 decision on a woman’s right to an abortion under the Fourteenth Amendment created the right to privacy for the one of the most difficult decisions a woman will ever make.

It is not my business to intrude upon a decision that has already been upheld by the Supreme Court.
